HandyMan 3.0
Program Overview
Introduction
HandyMan 3.0 is an equal opportunity construction company which intends to use its Partner Pilot Program to duplicate its business model in several areas in our own brand of franchising. We have 20 departments designed to keep the program running like a well-oiled machine that helps cultivate a well-rounded individual and a well-supported business. We have a unique setup and series of teams designated to govern each department accordingly.
What we’re looking For
We as a company are looking people with various levels of experience in the construction field to help build our empire. There are 3 basic types of business relationships we would like to cultivate with these individuals, who are vitally important to the company.
1.    Sub-Contractor: These individuals must have at least 5 years of experience, be able to provide their own tools and transportation, and be able to manage a crew and successfully complete a job.
2.    Experienced Worker: Experienced workers are always needed on every job site, and should an experienced worker be looking for work but not have transportation or tools, he can take advantage of our Transport and Housing Program.
3.    Semi or Non Experienced Worker: Individuals who are eager to learn and get to work but may not have as many skills or as much experience are required to attend our 6 week training program and become certified professionals.
HandyMan 3.0 is the help engine that drives our financial support system offering more than just training, education, transportation, competitive wages, and the basics needed for success in this field. This process will be run by Program Director Brittani Rivers, who will oversee all programs to ensure the proper completion of all assignments.
Position Descriptions
Office Employee: These individual are responsible for timekeeping, answering phones, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, checking tools and equipment in and out, keeping track of inventory, and completing any company related clerical and bookkeeping tasks.
Driver 1: This individual is a job bidder, and is responsible for driving to and from locations, following up on appointments, closing on new jobs and forwarding the job information to the office.
Driver 2: The Subcontractor is responsible for all crew members working on his designated jobs and for overseeing the work site. This individual receives a 40/60 cut on the 40 end for completed jobs.
Driver 3: This person transports materials to the work site.
Driver 4: This is the driver who signs trucks in and out and transports workers to and from designated locations. Also responsible for the condition of the truck in his possession.
Additional Information
Our Transitional Housing department will rent a 4 to 5 bedroom house for our workers in teams of 4 or 5 people to reside in during extended jobs.
We intend to recruit skilled workers form this and other areas and cities and provide them with transport between locations.
Upon arrival in the area of the job, workers are assigned a team and house. Company vehicles driven by Supervisors will be provided as transportation to job sites, the usual expected schedule is 7 on and 7 off.
These services are for those who are unable to provide their own transport and equipment or for those who simply prefer not to place the extra mileage on their private vehicle, especially when completing work in different cities.
The rate of pay for these positions starts at $15 per hour and is experience based.
Our nonprofit education department Lone Star Vocational Learning Center will be partnering with a Workforce on the job training program which provides funding through the state to help pay the salaries of unskilled workers with hopes of securing promising careers for these candidates. Workforce will also pay $500 per student that attends our Learning Center.
In order to secure a $30,000 signature loan we are currently in search of a silent partner with a high credit score to invest in the purchase of 4 trucks, 2 vans, and one rental house. Each group working under this business model will be separated by region. Once a region is self-contained and profitable, expansion is always the next step.
